Hi Darrian. That is the very first thing I tried as soon as I took the
monitor out of the box.
I would be surprised if you got a better result with
any other combination or playing around with spreadsheets.
My results suggests otherwise. With ColorNavigator and my EyeOnePro the
whole calibrated grayscale looked pinkish. And, as far as I can tell, there
is nothing wrong with my EyeOnePro.
I've had the same experience with both the EyeOnePro and the
EyeOneDisplay-I don't think it's an instrument issue.
I've been pretty happy with the results I get running Monaco Optix on
top of ColorNavigator-ColorNavigator does all its calibration in the
display's own LUT, while Monaco tweaks the video card LUT, so they
don't conflict. The result is still very slightly pink, but not
nearly as bad as with ColorNavigator on its own.
(I have the ColorEdge sitting right next to an Artisan, which
probably makes me pickier than most...)
