How to profile Epson2200 with RGB files

  • Subject: How to profile Epson2200 with RGB files

I am trying to profile an Epson 2200 running OS9 being sent strickly Adobe
98 RGB files from multiple digital cameras. I am using PMP/eye-one package.
I sent the printer the test chart "i1 RGB 1.5.tiff" and read it in and
profiled it. But this profile does not seem to want to load into photoshop
regardless of RGB or CMYK space. What chart should I use or should I
convert this one to CMYK? Will I be forced to send the printer a CMYK test
chart, eventhough I need to send it RGB files? And will that force me in
the future to convert all files to CMYK first before printing? My goal is
to see how an image will look onscreen before printing.
thanks.
