La Cie 19 IV color guns

I just purchased a La Cie 19 IV. I was surprised to learn I set the
brightness reading by adjusting the contrast setting. With my older Sony E200 I
could actually adjusted the color guns. I am using a Colorvision Spyder.
Did I missed something?
