Problem Printing Illustrator Files on Epson 10K

This may be slightly off-topic, but maybe someone here has run into this. A
client who does fine-at printing on Epson 10K printers has an Illustrator
file (v7, I think) and when he rasterizes it in PS7 in order to send it to
the RIP, objects in the Illustrator file move! We have tried saving the AI
file as an EPS and placing that in a PS7 document, but things still move.
I'm baffled and would be grateful for any suggestions.
