Hi list members,
Does any one have experience with and/or recommendations for (or against) desktop inkjet printer third party RIP software for Mac OS X? I'm referring to
software packages such as iProof PowerRip X, Proofmaster Adesso a
nd EFI Designer Edition Bestcolor. I don't necessarily need contract quality accuracy, just consistent stable output to my Epson Photo 1270. (I've been using the open source freeware Gimp-Print, but it seems unstable-I'm constantly reinstalling it and it also seems somewhat limited in the use of ICC profiles.) I'm somewhat of a novice at the issues of ICC color control (much of what I read here goes over my head) but I do understand the basics. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks,
Carl
