Title: Re: Imageprint Question
Have you thought of Shiraz?
Very nice Rip with all the controls you need:

But it does not has such a great Layout Window with a lot of features like Image Print, but Shiraz does ‘nest’ the images for you on to the paper, however it runs on Mac, Windows and linux.
If you are using Epson UltraChrome, Image Print is great (particularly the Black&White feature is really unique) , but if you are thinking using a third party ink, Shiraz does a great job since you can much better optimise it for a different ink.

If that is the case then you may want to look at something like Colorburst, which DOES offer linearization and the ability to treat the device as CMYK. Then you can really get into the nitty gritty of building your own CMYK profiles with custom black curves and other such niceties.
>From what I've seen, I like ColorBurst, but only the Windows version. The Mac versions are gutted as far as image layout tools are concerned. Looks like I may end up with a Windows box to RIP from, which is somewhat frustrating, as I'm otherwise an all-OSX shop (including OS X Server). I still need to download and check out IP, as it may do the job nicely. I like to tinker, but I'm not completely obsessed with it.
