Bill and Roger;
I tried the As Is with a few Spot Colors and they came over
ok (printing to Adobe PDF) but Bill you are right; the crops are RGB 0,0,0
And Roger, DeviceN is gonna be up in the air until you
assign a profile to each object, i.e., the receiving app won’t know how
to handle the color.
So, for me the worst of the evils is to upgrade to 6.5 and
use As Is the preserve the CMYK color of the job and apply your marks else
where. Keep in mind, although this should NOT be happening with marks, most
half decent normalizers will convert RBG 0,0,0 to K100.
