GMG Camflow cmyk seps

Hi list,

After using GMG colorproof for a couple of months now, and loving its accuracy on proofing and calibration, we have starting using the Camflow cmyk seperation module more for our RGB - CMYK conversions.
(primarily Adobe RGB - ISO (web or sheetfed).) We are finding the conversions very 'clean' and open, possibly TOO bright for our liking.
What are other users experiences of this conversion process in GMG? It seems to us that the black point compensation is very weak. We are constantly having to re-touch the CMYK files back down to the density we originally wished for.

Obviously some great advantages of the conversion pulling lovely shadow details out of the rgb file but why such an overall difference?.

I am expecting too much?, and should I settle down to the fact that any cmyk conversion is going to need more colour work after anyway?

Many thanks for comments

Graeme Bulcraig
