nuts and bolts question about Colorsync startup on an OS X

  • Subject: nuts and bolts question about Colorsync startup on an OS X

I recently went through a "phase" with 10.3.6 where colorsync was acting badly (though not as severe as the problem you describe) and at the suggestion of Apple support ended up doing Archive and Install of OSX to fix it, but others that were having similar problems found relief by following instructions at the link below to trash some hidden preference files. I'm no whiz at OSX but there might be something in "Cause 2." that could be of help.
