I need to layout the ECI2002 target in InDesign and print to a
postscript file. I'm not 100% sure about the settings to print the
target without color management so someone please correct me if I'm
wrong....
In the print dialog box, I select Composite leave unchanged in the
output section. Will doing this will leave the numbers in the ECI
chart unchanged regardless of my CMYK working space?
Would selecting In-Rip separations accomplish the same thing?
For the placed image, I can select it and disable color management.
Do I need to do that? (The display changes quite dramatically when I
do). Does it even matter if I have color management on or off since
I'm selecting the leave unchanged option when printing?
Just because I'm curious, is there a way to print separations without
a conversion taking place? If I select CMYK separations in the output
section, it looks like the color management section forces me to
perform a conversion to my working space (or any other selected
profile). Since I'm trying to profile, this is a big problem. Am I
understanding the dialog boxes incorrectly?
Thanks,
Mark
