Just as an FYI,
The Pulse is extremely accurate and has excellent correlation with X-Rite's
reference instrumentation. Nanometer interval is just one component of
several instrument measurement aspects that determine what level of
"accuracy" and "repeatability" a measurement device will deliver. While ease
of use is a big marketing point, the instrument's technical specifications
are as good as any scanning-specto in the market today.
Before using the system or seeing any results from it, it would be easy to
surmise that - based on the nm interval - the instrument will deliver less
accurate results when comparing to instruments with smaller sampling
intervals. However, in real life, the system delivers measurement data that
(compared with other popular spectrophotometers) is of the highest accuracy
and repeatability. Combine this with the same processing technology that is
employed in the newest version of MonacoPROFILER (v 4.7) and you've got a
system that will yield the highest quality profiles of any
"semi-professional" profiling system - and it will do it with ease.
