CMYK output profiles & dotgain

Dear colorsync users,

A simple question that confused me:

If I create output profile for some press & paper combination, does it
contain information about dotgain? Does dotgain compensation happen when I
apply that profile to image? How to get dotgain values from a profile?

Thanks in advance.
