I've been working with both platforms and I find myself working primarily
with Windows. My main reason is I find the keyboard much faster than mousing
around. And, in Photoshop, there are many more quick key combinations that exist
than on the Mac. If you don't know what I'm speaking of, or you think I'm
wrong, look under the Image drop down menu for a start and compare.
I know I could use Quick Keys or other programs and program my own keys, but
why should I have to? Why can't "they" just make the programs the same. Then
we have the choice of quick key combos or using our mouse -- as in Windows.
I certainly prefer the stability of the Mac platform (I'm on OS X.2.8) over
Windows (XP Pro & 98).
I have not been aware of differences in color issues between the two. They
both seem to calibrate up just fine.
All of the above is just my opinion -- which probably isn't worth much.
Have a great day!
