Kodak has released a new line of papers called Endura. Their basic
claim is display life of 100 years and dark storage life of 200 years.
They go on to claim that the display life is plus or minus 40 years
(60-140 years) and the dark range is 50-600 years (they go into a
little math on this).
My Kodak rep claims that prior to this the life was about 60 years...
Wilhelm claims 18 years. The Kodak numbers seem to be based on "home"
lighting of 120 lux.
Of course, your results may vary...

Does anyone know how long C-41 prints and archival pigment inkjet
prints compare as to how long they last before fading or other color
changes?
I could be off but I seem to recall C-41 (it's actually RA4) prints
having
about a 25-30 year life.
As for ink jet, I have this tidbit:
Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc. Display Permanence Ratings for EPSON
Stylus
Photo 2200 prints framed under glass and displayed with 450 lux
illumination for 12 hours per day:
70 years for Premium Luster Photo Paper
56 years for Premium Glossy Photo Paper
54 years for Premium Semigloss Photo Paper
58 years for Velvet Fine Art Paper
92 years for Watercolor Paper - Radiant White
62 years for Enhanced Matte Paper (but paper may yellow in 30-40 years)
