Driver settings will be step one, but so far I can find no magic
combination that produces anything remotely accurate or in the
ballpark.
If you are building custom profiles with your own equipment, then make
a profile for the most logical choices and see how that works. I've had
a couple of cases where profiling color copiers worked out better as
RGB devices than CMYK, so that may also be a factor.
