Has anyone found that the RHEM indicator works with ANY light above 5000K?
Or is it just my impression?

How many light sources have you tried? Technically it would react to SPD, not merely color temperature. The indicator "indicates" 5000K when I put it up against a 6500K calibrated display which obviously does not have an SPD of D50, but also does it outdoors on a cloudy day, and in the evening when the light is extremely cool.

Not all indicators are the same. I have been told one of them is targeted for the SPD of a particular vendor's light box, not D50.
