Used Barco monitors? Buy? Avoid?

  • Subject: Used Barco monitors? Buy? Avoid?

I am considering the purchase of a used Barco monitor for $600; my dealer has had it for about three years. I assume it was used for at least a couple of years before being sold or traded in. The dealer buys out a lot of labs/studios.

Any suggestions on how to judge the condition of used monitors, or whether in general they should be avoided?
