Me too, but on the Just boxes I see around the stripes are almost as marked
as on Tungsten. IN my GM Judge II they are close to non existing.

Never tried it (I tried on video though), but I'd assume not - it would
(should) introduce observer metamerism (neither film not ccd's will see
similar to the eye)

Strictly speaking sunlight is nowhere near D50 (actually nothing is <G>)

The theory is that if there are stripes the light is off, however it is but
a crude tool and should only serve as an indicator. Which of the stripes get
darker will depend on the SPD of the light - so I guess that means no.
