My mistake: In SilverFast we are using the settings that allow you to embed
a profile--in this case AdobeRGB(1998), so the file opens in Photoshop with
the same profile as the working space. We found that using these settings,
the file that opens looks quite good, whereas when we use the settings
according to Ian Lyons's SilverFast Color Management Tutorial, example 4
(
http://www.computer-darkroom.com/sf5-negafix/sf5_cms_2.htm), in which an
input profile is used (created with MonacoEZcolor), the file that opens is
very green. Either the profile is defective or I have yet to get my settings
right.

Another mistake in my post--where I said TCI viewing booths etc. I meant
GTI. Acronyms, oi! In any case we could not muster the cash for the dimmable
kinds...
