This is the EXIF data issue, where all such files are assumed to be sRGB,
even when they are not. Updates are making some headway with this, but if you
have a camera you feel is better represented by another color space, than
downloading the Photoshop 7 fix (from the Adobe website) that stops this assumption
from occuring might be convenient.
