Hello, I'm fairly new here, I've been kinda watching the posts to get
an idea of where to start.
I'll give some bio, then get to the problem.
I work for a couple of photographers on the east coast, we have 3
desktops and 2 laptops (all G4s), a 7600 for in house (rush and proofs)
and a couple of kodak 8500 for proofs. We use 3 local labs for
finished prints, they have frontiers and an old kodak led (for the
large ones). The cameras used are the D1X, D100, and S2. So, that's
the background..now to the present...
We just got the eye1 yesterday. I've done one of the laptops (the one
I use) everything looks good. So here's the root of the question...
In Photoshop I've set the Rgb working space to the monitor profile.
Now, I want to keep the camera profile. Should I have the Color
Management Policies set to off (which is the only option for RGB, the
others are greyed out)? Any thoughts would be much appreciated, we're
trying to get everything as close as possible (with all the different
equipment)
thanks
Murdock
