Try it yourself: just assign sRGB to your image in Photoshop.
Thanks Roger I did just that.
OK. Flat, uninteresting, and boring. Loss of saturation and life.
Now, how can I tell a design firm who has been in business years that
their color management policy is no good. For all I know, they work
closely with a printer who holds their hands and makes anything they
give em' look good.
They were jaw dropped when I walked them through the PS Color Settings.
Clearly, the PS person was made to look ignorant; not my intention;
but it played that way nonetheless.
So here I am, wondering why we put so much effort into something that
can be destroyed with a click of a mouse.
Isn't this real-life stuff great?
Thoughts?
