Neither can it print the gamut of AdobeRGB. So, where does that take you? I
think you have to take into consideration the range of subject matter you
shoot. I use my D100 with CameraRaw CS and routinely convert to sRGB, 8 bit
and 16 bit. I figure the subjects I shoot are not very saturated. So I know
I don't need a very large destination gamut to contain the source colors.
But if I was to shoot clothing or textiles or plastics or fruits then,
perhaps, I would be preserving more of the original colors by rendering to a
wider working space.

What do you think, David?
