Well, if the Pantone value is being displayed as a Lab value, not a SWOP
value, and if its a color thats in gamut for your monitor (the Pantone Solid in
RGB guide will list a little three pointed symbol next to patches within the
sRGB gamut) then on a hardware calibrated monitor it should match the swatch
under a proofing light of similar brightness.
