If your Spectroscan has a black table, place the swatch on the table.
If your Spectroscan does not have a black table, locate a section of
dense black substrate and use that as backing material.
Launch the ColorPicker module of ProfileMaker and measure the specific
swatch. Convert the measurement to device color for your choice of RGB
working space. Check that your monitor space is able to hold the color.
Calibrate and characterize your monitor, and use a viewing booth.
(There isn't much context for the question, so the answer may not
apply.)
Thanks,
Henrik
