Checking <ColorSync Utility> I found an entry for my Sony DSC Camera.

ColorSync Utility lets you choose any profile you like to represent the device. Click the triangle next to "Current Profile", select Other, then choose a different profile.

You don't need to get rid of the earlier entry which uses Generic RGB Profile, the newer entry will be used instead. If it bothers you to have the extra entry you can toss the entire ColorSync devices prefs file by entering this in Terminal:

rm ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/.GlobalPreferences*
