I don't think anyone was trying to start a flame war - we all have better
things to do. We've been asking that Apple addess problems with its software.
John, you were the one who changed the tone of this thread with the implication
that Chris was only trying to be "theatrical" to "sell books" and that he
should "lay off the coffee." (Insulting? nahhhh....) You refused to admit that
there were ANY design issues with the interface, when they are more than
obvious to long-time, experienced users. I guess you've made the point that we
shouldn't bother to discuss problems with Apple's software. Apple doesn't want
to hear about it (unless the problem causes a crash). I get the message, loud
and clear. (Long live ColorThink.) We now return to our regularly scheduled
programming... About that profiling target...
