Check to see your not using the GIMP driver on accident. If you are color
will be way off from what you saw before. If so, delete the GIMP driver and
install the Epson Driver. Then:
Be sure to save your settings as a 'Preset', but every time after double
check the settings and reset them just to be sure. For some reason, the
saved preset will always record the settings according to the UI but wont
always write them to the conversion. I am not sure if it's Print Center or
the Epson Driver. Anyway, the work around is to make sure the settings are
reset every time you print. In the case of printing color, I have personally
built custom profiles for the 1280/1290 in OS 9.2, upgraded to Jaguar, then
Panther, and used the same settings i.e. Photo Film, 1440, NCA, etc. and
same profile and got similar results.
