OSX 10.3 with Epson 1290

Dear All,

I've just started to do some serious grayscale prints from Photoshop CS on
OSX 10.3 with my Epson 1290.

I'm amazed at just how different the Epson driver is from my old OS9 setup.

I used to print with the following settings in the Epson Driver:

Print/

Ink: Black

Mode: Custom

Advanced/

Print Quality: Photo 2880dpi

Gamma: 2.2

Contrast: 0

Brightness: 0

Now in OSX 10.3, in the 'Printer Features' category of the Print Dialogue,
there are many new controls. I have tried to set these up along similar
lines, but the printed result is completely different.

Where can I find information to guide me through all this. I've checked the
Epson website, but can find nothing relating to these new driver settings.

Thanks,

Richard Wilding
