What profiling software are you using? This reminds me of a problem I was
having with ICC Display (now BasICColor Display) a while back where it was
generating (I believe) 16 bit profiles which were in turn being rejected
by ColorSync at startup (something to do with the ColorSync cache). The
solution was to make sure their profile loader was actually launching at
startup.
Are you using something other than the default profile size? I'm shooting
in the dark here, but you never know!
