I've noticed a bit of a slowdown taking spectral measurements with my Gretag iCColor. Nothing like 2x though, more like 20-30% longer. The typical IT8.7/3 CMYK chart takes about 13' spectral and maybe 9-10' without.

I've never timed it but measuring spectral data w/a spectroscan
subjectively
feels like it takes almost 2x as long as not.

I have noticed no speed difference between spectral measurements and
non-spectral. Now throw a polarizing filter on the 'Lino and watch it
really slow down!
