Just a shot in the dark but do you see any OTHER CMYK profiles in
Illustrator's print dialog or only RGB Profiles?

i placed several common profiles in /Network/Library/ColorSync/Profiles. one
of those profiles is to a networked cmyk printer. when a graphic designer
tries to select the profile from the color management pane (in the print
dialog) the profile does not appear in their list. the color settings are
set to advanced.
as an aside: i can see the networked profile in the print preview dialog in
photoshop cs as well as in the advanced color settings dialog in
illustrator. i just cannot see it in the list from the print dialog in
illustrator cs.
any suggestions on how i may fix would be welcome.
