Dan,
With regard to shadow detail, gamut and viewing angle have you found the just released Apple 20" to compare favorably with the Eizo ColorEdge CG21? I understand both meet SWOP certification, but I'm more concerned with performance in relation to the wider gamut and dynamic range of inkjet printers.

>We (ICS) have tested and run all both Apple displays through the SWOP
>certification. The biggest difference in these two displays is the
>luminance. A typical 20=B2 will give 180 cm^2 at a color of D50 and the 23 wa=
>s
>only 120cm^2. Both give great color reproduction. We just finished up the
>evaluation of the new 20=B2 with the smaller aluminum bezel and the standard
>DVI connection. This display (and a second one as well) measured just over
>200 cm^2 at D50. We have not yet looked at the new 23s or the 30.
