As a monitor based proofing manufacturer I have to say we love all our
children the same. All certified (and many we not yet certified) Monitors
are capable of contract quality proofing. As for gamut all today's monitors
must compensate for the cyan's and yellows that ink can produce out side
their range. However a monitor can display many colors out side the ink
(inkjet) range as well. It is up to the user to determine if it can be used
as an acceptable proof for their work.
