Jonathan,
a newer possibly larger display would not be a massive surprise but
Apple tends to "wrong-foot" those who feel the need to speculate.
My advice is get the equipment you need now or if you feel you must,
wait for the products announced at Macworld to arrive around December
:-).
For my money the initial 20" displays were significantly better than
the 23" but recently I have seen a decline in the quality control. A
large number of 20" displays that a large customer bought displayed a
pronounced magenta cast on the left hand side. The were however
declared "within spec" by Apple. Ho hum......
If you get a good one they are terrific.....

A slightly OT question -- Apple is currently offering a $500 rebate on

the 23" Cinema Display with the purchase of a G5. I have a strong

Does anyone else think that is decent speculation? Would the new
