It's really not a big deal Chirs.!
2G of embedded profiles is a big deal even if you're using DVD. How
much longer does it take for InDesign or QuarkXPress to parse through a
document linking images with 2G worth of embedded profiles? The data is
not ignored, it actually gets read each time.
Chris, come down to Earth, it doesn' need to be more complex, let
alone necisitates such
incarnation.
How is it complex? If it's made into a standard, legitimate means of
embedding a profile, it's simply dealt with like any embedded profile
from the user's standpoint. I'm not proposing an ad hoc implementation
which would have no chance of adoption except in closed loop scenarios.
If "no one" is following SWOP, then why would anyone follow a
"standard
separation inception point?" I don't follow.
Of cource you don't follow. You don't underatand the human nature of
the graphics
industry.
I'm not dissing you Chris, I coming from hard core experience of what
it's like in the
big ugly.
Yet you don't answer the question.
