I bet Adobe has heard this request before - but maybe not yet often enough?
callas software's PDF preflighting products currently do not offer color
conversion either. Nevertheless there is an excellent tool available, in
the form of SuperColor from Heidelberg (now called Prinect Color Editor I
believe). At 750 Euro it is excellent value.
