My fear is that what you propose would require a prepress operator to
run through hundreds of info boxes, or to use some kind of preflight
app/script to sort the image files. Then the operator would have to
construct automations to handle the various profiles that you've used.
The great utility of having the profile embedded is that if needed,
it's right there, ready.
