That being the display profile? It seems that way. At least when I tag the
images in Photoshop with the display profile, the color appearance seems to
match what I see in Preview.
Now I know you have some profiles in the main system (the generic ones) and
by default, Photoshop doesn't see them which may or may not be a good thing.
However I was able to copy them over to a profile folder where Photoshop did
see the Generic RGB profile. Problem is, when I Assign this in Photoshop to
the document that I'm also viewing in Preview, they don't match. Not far off
mind you but not as close as when I assign the display profile. So when you
say "Uses the Generic profiles" what profiles?
