Their answer appears to be "not sRGB". Two mini rants here. First, why not?,
sRGB is not the evil garbage that it is made out to be, sure some people
should be working in other spaces but it would be an outright disaster to
have everyone working in something like ProPhoto. I see the need for these
alternate spaces but it would create a whole other slew of problems for the
more consumer imaging needs, and this is where the money is. I've seen lots
of work in sRGB that is simply excellent, totally professional stuff.
Especially if you are working with a digital lab that prints your files,
you'd better be working with sRGB anyway.



Second, and I've mentioned this before, how in the world is the average "ham
'n egger" supposed to follow all of this garbage if the people who write
books on this technology are this bewildered by deviant applications.
