As Robert said on a reply, the list of media is not as exhaustive as the OEM
Epson drivers. Pick a similar paper and do visual adjustments with curves or
better yet make a custom profile. Also see below.

Color Management filters are not in the current release of Gimp. There will
be soon enough. The other way is of course make a Colorsync Filter in the
Colosync Utility. Apply this filter upfront which should pre color manage
the data before going to the printer.

drivers at 32 bit addressing in the operating system. This may be the reason
why. Join the Epson large format yahoo group and do a research on this and
there are some excellent explanations on this subject. Of course a rip is
not limited by the same restrictions if using a custom driver for the
interpreter.
