Time to revisit what9s going on in good ol9 ColorSync utility. In the
devices pane, the user is lead to believe there9s an association between the
devices installed and a profile. The quite limited instructions in Help say:
>
Choosing color profiles for devices
>
>
Different devices, such as a camera, printer, or display, have different color
>
capabilities. ColorSync uses device color profiles to translate the color
>
reproduction capabilities of your devices and ensure the most accurate color
>
possible across all the devices.

When you install the software for your device, a color profile for the device

is usually set up to work with ColorSync. However, you may want to change the

profile or check to make sure it is correct.
OK, so what is going on here because no matter what profile I pick for my
Epson using any product to print (not only Photoshop), I get the same
output. What's the point here in associating profiles to devices (in this
specific case, an Epson)???
