Yeah it doesn't work. I don't know who's fault it is, whether it's
EPSON that can't follow instructions, or if it's the instructions
themselves that are the problem. But so far none of their drivers seem
to pay any attention to these settings. I've also been unable to find a
list of print drivers that do. So at this point color management in
anything but the professional applications that can do it themselves is
questionable, if you need to work with custom profiles. Or if you feel
like wading into quartz filter land, the land of land mines, it's
possible to get embedded source to specified destination to work, sans
Black Point Compensation. Without an embedded profile though you're
hosed because Quartz filters default profile pop-up menu are currently
broken, so if a professional application is not available it will take
a combination of quartz filters and AppleScripting.
