Sorry Rich if my message was unclear. I'm often juggling too many tasks at
the same time and may loose track of my train of thoughts. I meant to say
that I've seen large shops doing AbsCol for commercial jobs and in those
instances I'd tend to say that it may not be necessary to do this given the
relatively high L* value of the proofing paper these places use, something
like L* = 94. In these instances, RelCol could do an acceptable job. On the
other hand, I believe that if the same high L* value paper is used for
proofing newsprint jobs then I see no other alternative but to proof AbsCol.
