Have not kept up with the colorsync thread so I hope this is has not already been covered:

Recently read where Mac Holbert, Nash Editions printing guru, suggested that the latest generation of printers, e.g., Epson 9600's, was now performing to such tight tolerances that any printer to printer differences would not be able to be seen with the naked eye.

I have been building and using ink and paper profiles for my Epson 9500 since I discovered a few years back that generic profiles did not yield optimal results - has this now changed as Holbert asserts?

If so, are folks out there (like Holbert) selling or sharing their profiles for different printer & paper combinations?

GSJordan
