Thanks for pointing this out to me. It's my own fault for pushing the users
guide aside when I couldn't get the TravelScan to come up on the PS File >
Import menu. I contacted the ColorVision on line help and called the 800
number and got nowhere for about a week or so. Nobody could tell me what to do
other than re-installing the software - something I was getting tired of
performing. Finally, on my own, I found and downloaded the TWAIN plug-in or
what ever it's called (the website stated it's not a driver if I remember
correctly), searched my system folders and found where it was supposed to go
(at least where I thought it was supposed to go) and replaced it. After I
rebooted, the TravelScan appeared on the Import menu like magic. This caused
me to have little faith in the manual. Also, Epson was of little help too.
They tried to help me with their printer when I first purchased it but their
support has no expertise in color issues. So, most of the time, I feel as
though I'm on my own - "I" have to figure things out because there is nowhere
and nobody to turn to for help. It is not my intent to bash any company's
support but this is where I am.
regards
