I am about to buy a Canon 300D
I was just wondering, since it's not an expensive camera, if anyone
knows if it has any color control limitation respect to the Canon 10D
or to other more sophisticated digital camera?
I mean, will I be limited in my color sync/color control workflow?
___________
I've just purchased the 300D (also known as the Digital Rebel), and
have been very impressed with the camera's flexibility and color
control. The white balance controls work quite well, even set on
automatic (as opposed to "custom"), and in any case, capturing "raw"
allows plenty of adjustment in Photoshop's Camera Raw (plug-in).
But (there's always a "but"), I no sooner bought this camera than I
saw the reviews for Nikon's new D70. It's supposed to be their answer
to Canon's blockbuster success with the Rebel, but reviews state it's
really more competitive with the 10D than the Rebel, though at a price
competitive with the Rebel.
Here's the review I'm referencing:

Since the 300D is my first digital camera, I have no points of
personal comparison to a higher-end device.
Good luck,
Don
