But one is a 5000k CRI-91 tube and the other is a 5500k CRI-95 tube. Seeing

Obviously 'real daylight' would be ideal. But are there recommended specs

Reason I ask is that some lamps cost a LOT more for only a slightly higher

I've experimented at lengths with Ott lights, GTI lights, Gretagmacbeth
lights and Normlicht lights. The best one I've seen so far, and my customers
agree with me, are the Normlicht ColorControl D50 fluorescents. You can look
at them with a RHEM indicator for more assurance. But they're plenty kosher
for my eyes. Thre's always Solux but you'll have to become somewhat of an
electrician to extract actual D50 chromaticities out of them.
