Dear All,
referring to the comparison of the GretagMacbeth instruments (EyeOne,
Spectrolino and iCColor) , I like to provide you with the following
information:
- all of these devices are spectrophotometers equipped with a diffraction
grating technology, generating spectral data with the most detailed
information about the color.
- the deviation of the measurements data between different measurement
devices can vary upon different materials which are measured.
- in the official brochures of the instruments you can find the technical
specifications about instruments and it`s technology. The inter-instrument
agreement of the devices are based on standard procedures approved by ISO. For
this purpose 12 different standard ceramic tiles (BCRA) in different colors
are applied.
- the iCColor has been judged by major prepress companies as very consistent
and with a good agreement with the Eye-One and the Spectrolino.
