That is the naked truth. Just like in life you can't escape death and taxes,
in Photoshop one can't espace color management.

NO, because you end up immplicitely with wathever RGB working space you hav
selected in ColorSettings.

In Photoshop 6 onward, there is no settings per se to turn color management
off. If you pull down the main Settings menu in ColorSettings I challenge
you to find a setting that says 'Turn Color Management Off'.

FWIW, FotoStation on the PC fully supports color management.
